Sensory Guppyween: Monster Mash – It’s an Aquarium Smash
The Florida Aquarium, in partnership with the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities (C.A.R.D.) at the University of South Florida, is hosting a Sensory Guppyween presented by Bonefish Grill from 8:00-9:30 AM, on Saturday, October 30th.
Join The Florida Aquarium for our annual Halloween celebration. Sensory Guppyween provides a Halloween Aquarium experience specifically tailored for the enjoyment of individuals with sensory differences and their families. Boo-gie to the monster mash during Guppyween with sensory-friendly Halloween games, creepy critter encounters, visits from our resident Mad Scientists and more.
The entire campus will be open for exploring; including engaging touch habitats featuring moon jellies, stingrays, anemones and so much more! The Splash Pad will also be open – so plan to bring a bathing suit, water shoes (optional) and a towel. Café Ray will also be open during this event.
Admission to Day of Discovery is only for families and children with sensory differences and/or accessibility challenges. Special effects, lights and music will be adapted for those with sensory differences.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Parking for this event is free in The Florida Aquarium lot located north of the Aquarium off the east side of Channelside Drive at York Street. Tickets are non-transferrable.
