Tackling Environmental Threats to Tampa Bay
One-day teacher workshop
Please join us for an exciting new one-day workshop learning about environmental threats to Tampa Bay. The focus will be on red tide, hurricanes, and sea-level rise as these three have important impacts to the Bay region. Through this interactive workshop, teachers will participate in STEM activities and receive related curricula for their classrooms. There is an $80.00 stipend that will be provided to teachers after completion of the workshop. We look forward to seeing you!
This opportunity is made available with grant funding from the Tampa Bay Estuary Program and space is limited to 24 teachers/workshop.
Who can join? Teachers in grades 6-12 in the following counties (due to grant requirements): Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Pasco.
Time: 8:30AM-3:30PM
