From Drops to Drink: Protecting Tampa bay's Drinking Water
One-day teacher workshop
Join us for an exciting workshop for teachers in grades 2-4 as we explore the various sources for our drinking water supply and learn about the importance of watersheds around Tampa Bay. Teachers will conduct inquiry-based activities and receive classroom lesson plans to use with their students. There is also a focus on stewardship and how students can lead the way to a healthier Bay system. There is an $80.00 stipend that will be provided to teachers after completion of the workshop.
This opportunity is made available with grant funding from Tampa Bay Water and space is limited to 24 teachers/workshop.
Who can join? Teachers in grades 2-4 in the following counties (due to grant requirements): Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Polk, Manatee, and Pasco.
Time: 8:30AM-3:30PM
