Drops to Drink:  Protecting Tampa Bay's Drinking Water

One-day teacher workshop

Teachers of grades 9-12 are invited to join us for a workshop that will explore Tampa Bay’s regional drinking water sources and the impact watersheds have on supply. Inquiry-based activities will be conducted.

Teachers will also receive related classroom lesson plans focused on stewardship to empower students to lead the way to a healthier Bay system.
An $80 stipend will be provided to teachers after completion of the workshop.

This opportunity is made available with grant funding from the Tampa Bay Estuary Program and space is limited to 25 teachers/workshop.

 

Who can join? Teachers in grades 9-12 in the following counties (due to grant requirements): Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Polk, and Pasco.
